Decent price, manual transmission, nice color, looks pretty clean so far...
...and not so much on the other side. I do applauded the sellers for cleaning the wheels for the sale pictures though.
I know I am asking a lot to find a relatively clean 25 year old truck in Western Pennsylvania, but everything I’ve been coming across is either rusted to hell or has a 5 inch lift kit which is the opposite reason I’m looking at older trucks.

I did the same this spring in Michigan. Gave up for the same reasons a nd got this instead.
Mostly because it was the only big horn regular cab 4x4 I'd ever seen and it's been a long time since I had a nice daily.

No OBS beds in any yards near you? Bed swap doesn’t seem to big a deal if the price is right.
Im trying my hardest to not email this guy https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/royal-oak-1984-gmc-c10-stepside-truck/6986649897.html
Unless someone wants my e28

There’s one for sale here in western NC, or was, on a road I pass regularly. Only like $2500, I think, but looked like it had some bed cancer about to bloom...

The passenger door and b pillar (is that the right term for a truck?) are also heavily damaged . I assume this would have a salvage title if an insurance company knew about it.

Ahh must be another picture that shows that then

Buy cheap, add flatbed. If the cab is too borked, just saw off the bad pieces and go for a Bronco-ish convertible look.

Park it so that you’d never see the passenger side. Make all your friends drive so they won’t either

Oh ya, although it’s a little concering the guys getting rid of it when the trans rebuild apparently has 10 miles on it. I still want it badly though

Try Delaware/Eastern MD, we're not as bad with road salt and seem to have quite a bit of that gen F-150 around. I haven't checked Craigslist recently, but recall there being a good number on there.

I hear you. $500 runs great, rusted out frame.
